The visuals of the game are truly phenomenal thanks to the detailed level designs, stunning character designs, and sleek animations that make the gameplay much better. Each level contains a boss fight where you’ll be coming up against a skillful fighter whose health bar will be bigger than the usual enemies so you better skill up your game while fighting them. Each opponent's health bar will be displayed on top of the screen next to your players’ health bar and to complete the level, you’ll have to take them all down without getting killed.
You’ll be using your fighting skills to take them down and to do so, you’ll be using the keyboard keys that will help you perform actions like punching, kicking, and other combos. As the level begins, you’ll start moving forward from left to right, and a few seconds, your enemies will start showing up. In terms of gameplay, the game does a fantastic job of replicating the official game’s gameplay where the players will always be facing left or right and will be fighting opponents in the streets. Offering a classical and nostalgic fighting experience, Beats of Rage is a fascinating action game and a spectacular mini-version of the renowned game Streets of Rage, in which you’ll be filling the shoes of your character who has to take down all his enemies in the streets to become the king of his neighborhood but that won’t be an easy task as you’ll have to come up against tons of skilled fighters and, you’ll also have to take down multiple bosses along the way so get ready to get your fighting skills truly tested in this thrilling game.
